IELTS Composing Task 1: Model Solution
The drawing illustrates the fundamental maxims of hydroelectric energy. The process needs the building of a large dam linked to a powerhouse. The dam produces a large reservoir in addition to powerhouse is where the electrical energy is produced.
Firstly, water caught in reservoir behind the dam is forced through a consumption. After that it flows into a narrow chamber labeled as a penstock, where ensuing high-pressure transforms a turbine. The turbine is connected to a generator in powerhouse above, which is where the action of this turbine is changed into electrical energy. The ensuing electrical energy will leave the powerhouse via cables that carry it over long distances to where it can be used.
It's interesting to notice that a hydroelectric dam produces no harmful byproducts and relies completely on normal forces to create electrical energy. After the turbine phase, liquid moves away through another channel and into a river. The process is renewable, thanks to the water pattern in the wild.
